The Orlando Opportunity Fund is a Qualified Opportunity Fund based in Central Florida. We are committed to producing solid investor returns while advancing Central Florida communities, entrepreneurs and our local economy through investments in commercial real estate and early stage companies. Investors also have the ability to leverage new tax incentives to reduce their capital gains expense and permanently exclude capital gains from the appreciation yielded from their investment into the fund.
We offer more than capital through our investments. We develop partnerships with our portfolio companies, and we capitalize our collective experience, resources and networks to help aid their success. Typically, our startup investments range between $250k-$500k.
Our team and investor network have quality experience in many varieties of real estate investments. In our QOF we consider investments in retail, office, warehouse, multi-family and affordable housing priced between $1M-$5M located within Opportunity Zones.
On December 22, 2017, the legislation for Opportunity Zones were developed to encourage the investment of 6 trillion dollars in unrealized capital gains while offering potential tax incentives for investors. Investments must be made through a Qualified Opportunity Fund.
